Bio and work experience:

I’m a freelance 2D animator, art director, and visual storyteller with over a decade of experience creating hand-drawn and digital animations for a wide range of projects. I specialize in transforming ideas into engaging, visually captivating stories — from short films, music videos, and commercials to educational animations, explainer videos, storyboards, and playful cartoons.

Born in Krakow, Poland, into an artistic family, I developed a strong foundation in traditional art, studying drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and design before pursuing Animation at Middlesex University in London (BA in Animation) and Central Saint Martins (MA in Character Animation, Distinction).

My student projects received international recognition: For Katy won 3rd place 2D at the 7th Toronto International Student Animation Festival and screened at 16 festivals, while The Planning Game became a semifinalist at the Adobe Design Achievement Awards.

As a freelance artist, I’ve worked with creative agencies, international corporations, universities, and individual clients. Notable collaborations include: Tunnel23 (commercials for Billa and Oekostrom), The MajorDESIGN Creative Agency (short films for Helvetia Gruppe), Nexus Studios and Room to Read (animated short film led by Emmy-winner Martha Adams), Quarantine Production (projects for Hasbro and Monopoly), and The University of Cambridge (educational explainer videos). I also created nearly 40 complex animated films for The School of Life, exploring philosophy, education, and emotional intelligence with scripts by Alain de Botton, and designed Here I Go, an animated short in collaboration with Cambridge Filmworks and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra musicians, addressing mental health and social issues.

In addition to professional projects, I’ve led art and animation courses for students aged 6–18 at AMADEUS Music and Arts Academy in Vienna, deepening my understanding of how children engage with visual storytelling — a skill I apply to all child-focused projects. I also create educational materials for Sitteroo, including memory cards, coloring books, and playful learning activities.

My work has been recognized in multiple competitions and exhibitions, including awards from IKEA Poland, Method Products, RAM Truck Dodge, Indeed.com, Marc E. Bassy, and interactive AR projects for Albertina Museum. My films and animations have been showcased in international festivals, cultural events, and innovative exhibitions combining traditional and digital media.

I manage the full creative process — from concept development, storyboarding, character and background design, to animation, sound synchronization, editing, and final delivery. My style emphasizes storytelling, artistic detail, and emotional connection, producing animations that are entertaining, meaningful, and tailored to audiences of all ages.

Whether it’s a short film, commercial, educational video, music video, or personal project, I aim to create animations that captivate, inspire, and bring stories to life.
